The Canadian Shareowners Association's ("CSA") depressed Cost Investing Program ("LCIP") give permission tos members:

begin buying shares of Canadian and U companies and index stores with modest initial investments;

automatically reinvest dividends on purchasing more shares;

purchase more shares with optional amounts small enough to fit mostly budgets;

purchase shares upon a regular monthly or quarterly schedule;

construct a portfolio with international diversification;

teach the merits of early and regular investing to children, grandchildren, etc

Individual and set members of the Canadian Shareowners Association ("CSA") can join the Dividend Reinvestment Plan ("DRP" ) for any of the companies contained in the lists onward pages 9 and 10. You simply finished the applicable Enrolment Form and toss in your initial investment for a security.

Why are there couple lists of DRPs?

The principal differences between disposes of DRPs are described below. There are shareowner-sponsored DRP ("Shareowner DRPs") These are sponsored and administered according to the Canadian Shareowners Association. In addition, there are company-sponsored DRP ("Company DRPs") which are typically administered at a stock transfer agent.

a. Participation. At the time of writing, Shareowner DRP are available to members resident in those provinces identified onward page 8. Exemption applications have been submitted to security regulators in other jurisdictions. Company DRP are available to CSA members resident everywhere in Canada excluding the Northwest Territories and the Yukon

b Initial investments are different. Shareowner DRP allow an initial investment of as little as $50 and as frequently as $2,500.

Alternatively, you may deposit a share certificate into a Shareowner DRP-or have shares transferred electronically from a Canadian brokerage account. To do in the same manner when completing the Form, write in the word "Certificate" (or "Transfer" as applicable) in the space provided for indicating the size of the initial investment. Mail the Form and the set-up absolute title [i]or[/i] posession to the CSA. You will receive specific directions for forwarding the certificate (or transferring the shares) to the CSA DRP Investors' Trust Account.

Securities in Company DRP typically permit an initial investment limited to: the passing from hand to hand price of one share of stock (round to the nearest dollar) plus $10 For example, if a stock's in every one's mouth price is $25, your initial investment is $35 (i.e. $25 + $10)

d User pays All Shareowner DRPs have user fiefs to recover costs; the principal uniteds being: $12 to set-up a DRP account; $4 to make an optional cash investment; $8 to vend shares; $12 to transfer shares to an RRSP or other account; 2% of reinvested dividends; and, 5 cent by share purchased.

Only a hardly any Company DRPs have user unconditional tenures beyond the $12 set-up unconditional tenure

How big and for what cause frequent are "optional investments"?

Typically, DRP allow minimum and maximum optional cash investments forward a monthly or quarterly basis. For example, all Shareowner DRP have a monthly minimum of $SO and a monthly maximum of $2500 You decide in what manner often and how much to invest. In addition, Pre-Authorized Investing is available for Shareowner DRP (see inset receptacle on this page).

What about the safe-keeping of cash and securities?

Cheques for all DRP share purchases are deposited into the CSA's Investors' Trust Account maintained at a Canadian chartered bank.

In the case of Shareowner DRP capitals are transferred to the CSA's Investors' Trust Account at a brokerage firm admited by a Canadian chartered bank. Shares are purchased [i]or[/i] part of to the other the broker and held in the name of the bank's nominee at the applicable Canadian or U Depository for Securities. Shares are registered in a participant's name forward the CSA's register of shareowners.

For Company DRP capitals are forwarded to the company's stock transfer agent who purchases shares either end a broker, or from the company. Typically, shares are held by the agency of the agent and are registered in a participant's name forward the agent's register of shareowners.

How do I know to what degree many shares I own?

A cummulative DRP account statement (showing holded shares to four decimal places) is sent to participants in Shareowner DRP after each initial and optional investment; sales; and, at year cessation Details about the reinvestment of dividends for each DRP are reported in each issue of Canadian Shareowner. ask advice of the Information Circular to order statements following each dividend reinvestment.

Typically, account statements are sent quarterly to participants in Company DRP

How do I vend my DRP shares?

For all Shareowner and greatest in quantity Company DRPs, you can exchange your DRP shares by notifying the DRP Administrator in writing of your intentions. Shares are sold at the nearest available investment period. If a Company DRP is not permitted to put up to sale shares, simply request a share certificate from the stock transfer agent and have a factor sell the shares for you.
